So Far, So Good - Mid-level Netbook
My wife is getting used to e-mail and wanted a PC for the kitchen that doesn't take up much space so I began looking for a Netbook PC that would meet the needs. I was aware of the $300 Asus EEEPC sporting the Linux OS, but decided I would rather have XP just because of the familiarity of the software.
Price was a major determining factor for us right now, and at the Dec 2008 Amazon price of $350 for a 10" model, the MSI Wind U100 is a great deal. I've heard rumors of the U120 coming .... Read more

And The Top Netbook is...
I didn't purchase this netbook for me, its a gift for my sister.
But, I really wanted to take it for a test drive, so I took it out of the box, and booted it for the first time. No problems there of course, and once XP booted, it ran great! IE was a little slow, so I downloaded google chrome, and the browsing is FLAWLESS!!! The hour I spent on it was a breeze and I now know why they call it the "MSI WIND."
