Overview
The Wind, an acronym for ?Wi-Fi Network Device,” features a speedy and energy-efficient Intel Atom 1.6GHz Processor to provide longer operation hours and better mobile lifestyle. This notebook is lightweight and ultra-portable, measuring about 7 inches wide by 10.23 inches long, and weighing just 2.6 pounds. Being small doesn’t mean ultra-small keyboard, the Wind features an ergonomically designed keyboard that is only 20% smaller than a full sized notebook keyboard, with keys spaced a comfortable 0.68 inches apart. The Wind comes equipped with a 10″ backlit LED screen that provides superior color quality and brightness giving you better comfort while reading reports, watching online videos and viewing photos. In addition, the 1024 x 600 screen resolution can fully display web pages, which makes it ideal for Internet browsing. With the 802.11b/g/n wireless built-in, you can enjoy the convenience of accessing the Internet anywhere and video chat with family and friends with the built-in 1.3 Megapixel Webcamera and microphone. Another wireless feature that comes with the Wind is Bluetooth, this enables you to wireless connect to headphones, or other Bluetooth devices making it more convenient by not carrying around a bunch of tangled cords. don't buy it at amazon
DON'T BUY IT AT AMAZON. Amazon not only charge me $8 shipping cost for returning, but also CHARGE ME $65.50 RESTOCKING FEE(15% from original price) despite the fact that the computer is totally in the original condition. $65 IS A LOT OF MONEY. I didn't know it otherwise I would never bought it at Amazon. As far as I know, other online computer sellers would not charge you such a high restocking fee.

Great product until it crashes.
I bought the MSI wind for my 13 year old daughter for Xmas this year. It was great, she loved it and I was amazed at the speed and quality of everything for the price. 1 day later I am sending it back because it completely crashed. No OS found, No hard disk drive found. The only way you can re-load the OS is my purchasing an external ROM device because these net books don't come with any internal media reading capabilities. Best Bang for the Buck
In an increasingly competitive netbook market the MSI Wind provides a great balance of features vs price. Mine fired up right out of the box, connected to my wireless network and has performed without a hitch ever since. I have taken it to work with me and it instantly connected to our network. The 10 inch screen is bright and displays the entire width of a web page without having to scroll back and forth. Windows XP is far superior to Vista, especially in this environment. Everything I needed
This is the one I have been waiting for. Light; good run-time (with larger battery pack); familiar interface (Windows XP); not loaded with "junkware".
Performance is excellent. Resumes XP from "Hibernate" mode in 12 seconds (vs. over a minute on my Dell Inspiron).
LED backlit screen is very clear and very bright. Simple one-button to activate "ECO Mode" (dims display a bit, slows processor to 1/2 speed, adds 20% to run-time).
