Oops-small problem
Ordered this computer as a gift. Got it quickly from AMAZON with their excellent shipping.
The packaging is nice and the computer comes with a case, set up is straight forward and easy. The computer itself is very solid appearing with its 'aluminized' finish. The display is bright and the keyboard very nice.
The WiFi did not work with my router-we had to stand within 6 feet of the router to get a hook up(Linksys router) and the connection was dropped at 15 feet. Tried different WiFi .... Read more

Very glad I did it!
I researched these types of netbooks for quite a while before making my final decision on purchasing. I wanted something much smaller, but still had the get up and go to do things I need to get accomplished.
I have a Dell XPS M1530 that is an absolute piece if crap. From day one it would constantly give me blue screens sporadically. Vista is a dog turd. Between Dell being junk with poor customer service, and Vista, it was time to sell it online.

Not worth the price tag at all
The specs on this netbook is completely average, nothing on it warrants a 500$ price tag. It's completely baffling how they can slap on such a high price to an average specced netbook. More like 350$, like all the other similar netbooks. It doesn't even use an SSD! It uses a 160GB HDD, so I can't for the life of me figure out where this hefty price comes from.

Completely satisfied
No problems yet, this computer is great and I'm glad I picked it. I shopped around a bit first, this seems like the best value. Sturdy construction, tight hinge, and the aluminum finish looks beautiful. Battery life is fine, somewhere between 4-5 hours. The touch pad is excellent; it's large and has many finger gestures which make navigating much easier. Hard drive, ram, cpu, etc. are all fine, pretty standard on most models. I've had the pleasure of using the Asus 1002HA netbook for 4 days and have formed some definite impressions that I'd like to share with you. I'll comment on 6 areas that are important to me and hopefully to you as well.
